I have the highest regard for Dave and Cody. They worked on a large project for us which was very complicated and included 3 bathrooms and a complete kitchen remodel. It all started with a return phone call ?We reached out to several different companies about 2 years ago because we wanted to put an addition on our home. We had no idea where or how to start the process. Dave was the only person to return our call. He was more than willing to answer our questions and pointed us in the right direction. Once we got everything in place, Dave was the first person we called to complete the job. Dave and Cody spent most of the last 6 months working on our incredibly large home addition project. It included a massive kitchen and dining room renovation, adding a bathroom and bedroom as well as some unforeseen issues that arose with our home while trying to complete the project. The Godwin team worked quickly to come up with solutions that would not slow down the process of our addition too much. We are beyond happy with the work that they did. They were so respectful and easy to work with. We have 2 very small children and they were incredibly mindful of this and made sure that everything was being done in the safest and cleanest manner. Every outside worker that Dave brought into our home seemed to have the same caring and respectful approach that Dave had. After spending so much time with them this year, they almost feel like family. We plan to call Dave if we ever need anything more done to our home in the future. My husband and I hired a local contractor to redo our deck with composite material. Unfortunately he wasn't qualified to do the job. Thats when Dave and Cody came to our rescue. They came, assessed the damage that was done, gave us a quote and started work one week later. In just one week Dave and Cody turned our disaster deck into the beautiful composite deck we had envisioned. They did an amazing job and we cannot thank them enough.

Dave and Cody remodeled my entire kitchen. From demo down to the studs and built back up again. Their communication Before and during the job was awesome. You knew exactly what was happening and they never failed to answer questions. They were on time every day and worked all day long. I have had other contractors and I can tell you these two are the best! My kitchen is so beautiful now! I plan to have them install windows for me and probably do other jobs as I don't want any other contractor working on my house now! You can't go wrong hiring them -I highly recommend Godwin Construction!

While I was out of town, a pipe burst and the water flowed for a long period of time until a friend who was checking the house discovered it. The damage was considerate (over $100 K) to a house which had been extensively remodeled recently. I hired Dave Goodwin due to some positive comments I heard about his work. We talked through a plan of attack and Dave executed as I expected and as he promised. There were very few interruptions once the work started. He is not a contractor who disappears days on end as is the usual case these days. Another positive is that he can change up when things aren't exactly as expected and get on with the job.

The house was originally built in the 50's and not too much was straight but it sure looks that way now. Also, the woodwork joinery is perfect and I say this without reservation. Lastly, Dave was pleasant to work with. I highly recommend him.

Dave built a custom deck in my yard that turned out beautifully. I hired him to remodel my kitchen and that job turned out great. I recommend Godwin Construction if you want a quality job done.

In 2018 my wife and I decided to have a 16' x 30', 3 room addition constructed on our home. We interviewed 3 contractors. Although Godwin Construction Co. was not the biggest firm we liked Dave's informative, sincere and honest attitude and chose his company. We were not disappointed.

As with any project there were issues which arose outside of Dave's control. However, Dave worked well with the concrete and electrical companies to keep the project moving as fast as possible.

Dave and staff were on the site every day, weather permitting, until the job was completed. The Town Building Inspector had very few comments and adjustments as the project progressed.

Delighted with the new addition and I highly recommend Godwin Construction Co.

Dave and his son Cody are amazing skilled tradesmen. They have done several jobs for us, from installing new railings on our front porch to installing a new sliding glass door to our deck to a complete "down to the studs" kitchen remodel. One thing in common with all the jobs - the results are fantastic. Dave's years of experience show in all of the detail in the finished product. Everyone who has visited after the kitchen remodel has the same reaction: "fantastic job". Same for the sliding door and railings. We have recommended him to friends and are planning to have him do another job for us this spring. He is great to work with, understands homeowner concerns and actually listens to your input. I decided to install new windows and patio on my second floor. The problem was I had no idea who to use. After some research I reached out to Godwin Construction. I met with David and decided his company was a good fit. The process seemed a little intimidating to me at first but soon found myself in good hands. I have used Godwin Construction twice and have been exceptionally pleased with the results both times. In addition, my very very very picky Father in Law, who has done a bit of construction also used them on a bathroom remodel and was extremely Impressed. The quality of their work is top notch, I'm sure you will see that in other reviews. My jobs were completed on time, on budget, and the workmanship was beyond what I expected. They were responsive and punctual. One more thing that I thought was very important was their professionalism . They treated my property as if it was their own. They kept the job-site clean and by the time they left everything was spotless. I had gotten other estimates and while they were not the lowest I am certain that I received the best value for my money. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
